Dr. Khaldoun Shiekh Sroujieh, MD

I was feeling loss of stamina and signs of angina after moderate exertion, and referred to Dr. Sroujieh by my doctor. I was quickly scheduled for a consultation, but having suspicions even after a normal EKG reading, Dr. Stoujieh had me stay to perform additional echo-stress testing with ultrasound with a technician and equipment he conveniently has in his offices. He diagnosed, from experience, unstable angina and a probable 70% blockage. He wanted to schedule an angioplasty the next morning, but I had a mini-vacation planned with family. So he stayed late, called back technicians at the hospital who were about to go home, and admitted me to ER. An hour later he was performing the angioplasty, discovered a 95% blockage in one of my coronary arteries, and inserted a stent. I stayed overnight and he accommodated me by getting up early to come in to evaluate me and discharge me earlier so I could participate in a family birthday trip. There is no doubt his actions precluded an… eminent coronary event, and probably saved my life. I am grateful for his good judgment identifying an urgent scenario, and his willingness to act with immediacy to ensure my well being.

I disagree with that patient who gave Dr Sroujieh a one star rating! Dr Sroujieh is a very caring doctor. His staff is the greatest! You can never find another doctor's office who cares for their patients the way they do. They are all very helpful!!!

We went to see Dr Sroujieh for a cardio clearance prior to procedure that is a week before the procedure. Came on Monday ,the staff said they will fax the progress notes and EKG results, i kept calling everyday , they keep saying the doctor has not sign it yet, came Thursday, still not done yet. I insisted to talk to Dr Sroujieh , but the staff said the doctor is not in , they wont let me talk to the doctor, or talk to him personally to get the progress notes, they just said WAIT , until when, the procedure will be cancel because of not having the clearance on time. Please Dr Sroujieh, make sure this wont happen again in the future. And tell your staff ,not to put down the phone on your client. Dont we have the right to talk to you personally? And why cant we get a wriiten RX that if the client is medically cleared , so we can submit that , instead of waiting for you to type the report that takes few days to get it done.

Dr Sroujieh MD, is one of the greatest cardiologists I have ever met. He was my grandmother's doctors, now both my mom and uncles are his patients. I hope I won't ever become his patient but the fact I know he is the best it makes me very comfortable. I hope he never retires and he lives long years of life. Thank you Dr. Sroujieh!
