Dr. Khaled M Kebaish, MD

I would not recommend this doctor. First, I waited over an hour an half past my scheduled appointment. Nobody notified me of any delay. When I asked the front desk, they dismissed me, saying the doctor is "busy". Right, patients are just there to spend the day! The doctor was even more rude. He did not listen to any of my concerns and seemed annoyed when I tried to ask a question. He did not offer any insight or helpful recommendation. He was rude and dismissive. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. Total waste of time. Avoid by all means!!

I consulted with Dr Kabaish about my left hip pain, he reviewed my x-rays and told me the only way to differentiate whether my pain was from my hip or spine was to have a spinal nerve block. Not wanting that I consulted Towson Orthopedics and received an appointment with a Nurse Practitioner that correctly diagnosed me with Bursitis. One cortisone shot and I was fixed. Wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone!

I went to Johns Hopkins in order to see if they could help me with my cervical stenosis issues. My quality of life has been deeply affected. At this point I was getting no solutions from my previous doctor in Pennsylvania except pain medication. Dr. Kebaish had all my images from the other doctor that I sent down, and after talking to me and asking me some questions within 10 minutes he knew what to do. I will not get into all the details, but it's amazing how quickly he resolved the problem and gave me hope. I wasted 4 years using my current doctor. I will be using Johns Hopkins from now on even though I need to travel. Thank you so much Dr. Kebaish.

Dr. Kebaish and his team transformed my life through my spinal reconstruction surgery. I have lived with scoliosis since I was a preteen, and years of wearing a brace and three previous operations failed to correct my issue. Thanks to Dr. Kebaish, I am standing up straight for the first time in at least a decade. I have the opportunity for an active and healthy life now, whereas before, I needed a walker to go even short distances. I would say the only negative is the lack of communication about the details of my surgery beforehand. But that is not enough for me to change my 5-star rating. Thank you for giving me my life back, Dr. Kebaish, Malaya Gamble, and all of the compassionate staff at Johns Hopkins.

Dr Kebaish along with Malaya Gamble and the rest of Dr Kebaish’s supporting staff from Johns Hopkins Hospital have been more than excellent throughout the entire process of my lumbar spinal fusion revision surgery. My back was in such bad shape that multiple other surgeons had declined to help me because of the state of my lower lumbar. The fact is that I had an existing fusion, by a surgeon at a much smaller hospital, that had failed. The grafted bone had broken loose. The bone grafts were added between the vertebrae to replace the disc that needed removed. I also had broken pedicle screws that held the metal bars in place to my vertebrae. I will never go anywhere else for a back surgery as long as Dr Kebaish is practicing. Nearly everyone I have met at Johns Hopkins have been extremely caring and helpful. In my personal opinion, the staff were a combination of being the top qualified healthcare providers available along with being very personable, caring and helpful. The nursing… staff in the surgery recovery and perioperative staff were all very professional and caring as well. In conclusion, my whole hearted opinion is if you have a serious surgery that you need then take my advice and have Dr Kebaish perform any orthopedic surgery that you need. You should choose Johns Hopkins Hospital for any and all medical procedures. I know you will be as impressed as I have been. They have truly been a Godsend and miracle at a time in my life when I needed it more than ever before.

Wow! I have been to a few very highly-rated surgeons and none come close to Dr. Kebaish's knowledge, professionalism, and COMPASSION. Many surgeons forget that last component; however, Dr. Kebaish exuded compassion from the time he walked in the door. He methodically performed an examination, reviewed my history, and listened to me regarding my problems. He opined expertly to my issues and what he could do to repair them. Dr. Kebaish has given me hope which is something I thought would never happen. I would recommend him to any loved one who needed his expertise.
