Dr. Khalid Mehmood, MD

Dr. Mehmood is the very BEST hospitalist that Chesapeake Regional Hospital has on staff! I cannot say enough wonderful things about him! I have had the pleasure of having him as my assigned doctor on a couple of different occasions while admitted and the care I receive from him is always exceptional and top notch. His bedside manner is perfect and he answers all of your questions and concerns with ease and explains conditions well and thoroughly. I will request him if I have to return as a patient to Chesapeake Regional. They are truly blessed to have him on staff! I highly recommend Dr. Mehmood for his professionalism and genuine caring attitude! He is simply amazing!

Dr. Mehmood was my husband's hospitalist when he was taken to Obici with Congestive Heart Failure. pneumonia, and sepsis. He was not only reassuring to me in the emergency room, but also compassionate toward me early the next morning when he saw him in his room in the Stepdown Unit. I shall never forget this.

I met Dr Mehmood in the emergency room at Obici Hospital where my husband was taken with Congestive Heart Failure, pneumonia, and sepsis. He was not only reassuring to me there with his explanation of his medical condition, but also came to see see him in the Stepdown Unit by 8:00AM the next morning and showed exceptional compassion not only to him, but also to me. I will be forever grateful to him for his medical skills and personal kindness.
