Dr. Khalida Malallah Mahdi, MD

Avoid at all costs. Khalida Mahdi was hands down the worst medical interaction I’ve ever had. From the start, her demeanor was dismissive, cold, and overtly condescending. My primary care doctor was out of town, so PlushCare assigned me to her and assured me she was qualified. Within seconds, she told me she couldn’t help—without even listening to my concerns. She barely let me speak, inserted bizarre and uninformed personal opinions, and rushed through what couldn’t have been more than a five-minute appointment. The icing on the cake? She abruptly ended the video call under the pretense of calling me instead—despite no technical issues—so that I wouldn’t be able to leave a review. Because she called me right away after abruptly ending the video chat , it bypassed the review system .I later confirmed this shady tactic with PlushCare. Apparently, once the video ends, so does your ability to review. Clearly not her first time pulling that stunt. The experience was not just… unprofessional—it was manipulative and borderline unethical. She avoided eye contact, had a hostile attitude, and made the entire encounter feel like I was a burden rather than a patient. But the most infuriating part? She tried to turn the tables and file a complaint against my trusted primary care physician, in what was clearly an act of self-preservation and deflection. That level of audacity and unhinged behavior is unacceptable. PlushCare refunded my copay, which says a lot. This woman should not be practicing medicine, period. She is sneaky, unprofessional, and completely lacking in bedside manner. AVOID her at all costs.

Sent my child away with a severe Infection and told me there was no way possible that she had it yet when we went to another doctor less than a hour later my child was immediately diagnosed. Dr mahdi did not listen to my concerns or even properly attempt to exam my child.

Felt very comfortable to talk to her.She was supportive ,encouraging and a good listener. I have already shared my experience with my friends.

Dr Mahdi is loving caring physician just a great doc that i recommend any patient to go and see her if you are looking for a great service as well as great quality of care ..
