Dr. Khan Matin, MD

I have had mental health issues from a young age, and when I went to see him he immediately threw me on a high mg of medication which caused an onset of seratonin syndrome. My first day in his office, ha asked me what drugs I was on (none, by the way). And he always told me I need to lose weight and maybe I would feel better mentally. This doctor ruined my self esteem when I was at an awful time in my life, I wouldn’t recommend anyone seeing him unless it is last resort. I experienced bullying from a grown man! And there was nothing that I could even do.

Please, Please, Please do not put yourself, or a loved one, in this man's judgmental care. His practice is unethical; illegal actually. The emotional damage on my 7 and 9 year old from actual adult bullying...has stunned my core. SEARCH ELSEWHERE for REAL MEDICAL ADVICE and HELP. Have a fabulous day.

Doesn't care about his patients typical fast food type of Doctor. Speaks poor English and is very judgmental.

I have been a patient with him for 20 years and just love him.

If you only want medications for a mental health issue, he will suffice. If you're looking for in-depth counseling that you would think a psychiatrist might provide, look elsewhere. This probably could be said of most psychiatrists however. Those in need of mental health counseling would be better served by getting that from possibly a psychologist or therapist. Just my opinion.

Dr. Khan is an excellent, highly underrated physician. I have known him for more than 15 years. He works daily with the overburdened public mental health care system, when with his expertise and experience could be making more and working less. Their are so few physicians of his quaility to be found working as hard and as endlessly as he does.I have heard so many complaints about the amount of time he spends with his patients. They do not realize he is a compassionate doctor who would love to bond with every patient, if his patient load were not so great.I am extremely greatful to DR. Khan, He has saved my life, and made it better. Along with countless others. Thank You Dr. Khan. You are a Godsend.
