Dr. Khashayar Kash Vahdat, MD

Dr. Khashayar Vahdat is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, with additional expertise in hospital medicine and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from American University of The Caribbean School of Medicine and has been practicing for 19 years. Dr. Vahdat speaks both English and Spanish, helping him connect with diverse patient populations throughout East Texas.

Dr. Vahdat practices at multiple CHRISTUS Good Shepherd locations in Longview, Tyler, and Kilgore, Texas, as well as Longview Regional Medical Center. His clinical focus includes treating high blood pressure and coronary artery disease, including specialized care for women with heart conditions. He performs diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms and echocardiograms to evaluate heart function. Dr. Vahdat's interventional cardiology training allows him to provide advanced cardiac procedures when needed for his patients' care.
