Dr. Khatuna Topadze Belov, MD

I saw Dr. Belov for a sick visit prior to my wedding because my primary care doctor was unavailable to see me. The visit went fine however, I was charged a five dollar co-pay, being in the inner circle for insurance. I came home from my honeymoon to two bills within a 10 days. I reached out to the office staff multiple times, they did not call me back. Finally, I reached out to them again and I was told to call my insurance. I spoke with my insurance, I called them back to let them know that since they charged me a five dollar copay they are considered inner circle. They never called me back once again. Finally I got a hold of them, and Dr. Belov got on the phone yelling at me saying she’s going to take me to collections if I don’t pay my bill. I am a nurse and understand how insurance works, however from what I was told I was being billed inner circle and should not have a deductible. I feel like this is completely inappropriate medical professional or not no patient ever should be… spoken to the way I was spoken to today. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor. Clearly she does all her own billing and is really only in it for the money rather than patient care. Very unfortunate for me that I was in desperate need of antibiotics prior to my wedding and Dr. Belov got on the phone yelling at me saying she’s going to take me to collections if I don’t pay my bill. Unfortunate for me that I was desperate and needed antibiotics prior to my wedding. I will never make the same mistake again.

Dr. Belov and her staff run a very efficient and kind office. She is very thorough and listens carefully to your concerns. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and this enhances your comfort level. I am very happy to be a patient at this practice.
