Dr. Khek-Teck Tan, MD

I am NOT a person who likes to go to doctors. I was against getting insurance as well (Expensive and I never use it) BUT I decided to get coverage from Covered California (Super great deal). They assigned my a doctor all the way in Downtown LA. I decided to change my doctor to someone closer. I went thru every available doctor in my plan and found that DR. Tan had the most star reviews. I took the change and made the switch. I couldn't have been happier. He is a one-man-show and pays great attention to you and your issues. He is not only allopathic but believes in holistic approaches as well. I told him I won't be getting the vaccine shots because I don't believe in it. He asked why, I explained and he didn't push me in any way. When I completed the physical, he called the next day to have me come in to explain the results. It required me having to take medications which I protested. He explained that the benefits outweighs the negative. He was caring and generous with his time to… explain everything to me. I now have hope and appreciation for finding such a great doctor. God Bless You Dr. Tan!!!!!

I've visited Dr Khek-Teck Tan on 4 occasions since early 2011. Service has always been of high quality. He has a great nature, which put me at ease on each occasion. Diagnosis / drugs prescribed always seemed effective.

Went to this doctor when I found out my Covered California-assigned PCP was no longer practicing medicine. He fit me in the day after I called, and was flexible with my schedule. His office is very small and is next to a Vet Clinic. Parking is easy in the Bristol Farms lot. He was thoughtful, listened well, was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Funny and sweet, he put me immediately at ease. His office is very small- a waiting room, consultation room and small exam room.

Great and caring physician in the westside area!!
