Dr. Khizar Mahmood Malik, MD

I had the pleasure ?? of meeting Dr Malik for all of 2 minutes when I was a patient this past week at Orlando Health. Dr Malik literally spent 2 minutes with me. He asked me 1 question but didn’t exam me. Based on our 2 minute conversation he prescribed a new medication for me to try which he never entered the order for so I didn’t receive it before he decided to discharge me the next day. Right before I was discharged the hospitalist told me Dr Malik said all of my issues were psychosomatic so there was no need to keep me. Had Dr Malik read any of the reports that I brought with me, that he refused to look at, he would have seen how very real my issues are. The I’ve had neurological issues for over 6 years. I went to Duke University in NC, 1 of the top hospitals in the country, where I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, Intracranial Hypertension & Complex Partial Seizure Disorder. These conditions are very real & the reports, from Duke, would have proved just how real they are… but again...he refused to look at them. This is just my opinion but if you’re looking for a good neurologist...Dr Malik is NOT the Dr for you!

Dr. Malik took time to go over my test results and possible options for treatment going forward. I was particularly impressed with the fact that he treats the patient and not the numbers. Keeping an eye on things and so far so good.

If anybody knew the accurate prognosis was this doctor. Dr. Malik's displayed great experience and professionalism in my treatment . After seeing so many other doctors over the years and no luck; I'm very glad I found doctor Malik. Listening to Dr. Malik and running the necessary tests I'm glad I'm feeling better. I would recommend doctor Malik to anyone who wants to feel normal and healthy again. All I have to say is thank you so very much Dr. Malik.

I have been unable to locate Dr. Malik for at least the past 6 months. I have been his patient for several years and I'm frustrated in trying to get in touch with his office. The telephone number is not a working number. Does anyone know where he is??

I have been going to Dr. Malik since 2005 and it has all gone down hill. Now he has a very nasty staff who are EXTREMELY rude and he will not return calls. I asked about my tests and I was told the doctor was on his way out but said the blood work looked fine. I am not event sure if I believe that. I am now in the process of finding someone new with a more professional and polite office staff.

This Dr. Is a complete joke. Won't see you unless you arewwilling to pay HIM for tests, even if you are sitting in his office. I had a bad experience with the painful Meg test and was not willing to walk into a Dr.. I had never seen before and be told the day of that I was getting this painful test. I'm very sick and see lots of doctors all the time. A Dr. Cannot force you to get a test with them but this one thinks he can. Awful, awful, awful!!! Do not waste your time!!!

I was fine with the doctor however his stuff is TERRIBLE! They don't return calls, they are rude. For me would be no star at all.
