Dr. Khosrow Alyeshmerni, MD

I have been to many doctors and have seen the good and the bad. Dr. Alyeshmerni is one the "best" that I have come across. Very knowledgeable and courteous and caring.

He left the door open during the assessment. Had to close the door to ensure patient privacy. He was very very hotheaded and short tempered. I was translating for my mother that doesn't understand English and he seemed so frustrated. Wasn't listening, he more so heard what he wanted to hear. Cant speak for how knowledgable he is but he is definitely not a compassionate physician or maybe he is biased.. who knows

Dr. AK. Alyeshmerni has great interpersonal skills. He is an asset to his profession. He makes you feel relaxed the minute you walk into his office and has great nuturing skills. He gives an explanation for any medications he prescribes. I see him at the flushing office. Which i might add, is very clean. I look forward to seeing him. I have recommended him to mamu of my friends and family members.

Had this doctor since the end of 2019 trying to give him a chance the service is so bad he does not take time and is in a rush I called his Pvt line by mistake he told me to never call again and to burn his number the nurse putting me on hold for 20 mins when I call trying to get answera about getting medication from Doctor I never had a doctor treatment like this before who has to wait a hold week to get answers if he was the last doctor on Earth I would do without

Gone to see this doctor on a few occasions to give him a fair chance, but found his bedside manner poor every single time. Was not impressed by how I was treated. Now seeing a new doctor and am much happier.

I am here to warn you, and share my experience. I am in my late 20s and unfortunately, diagnosed with osteoporosis. The following words came out of his mouth “I bet you are underweight because you have a distorted view of seeing yourself with some fat/ looking big”. First of all, what kind of human says that to anyone with assumption. Yes, I am underweight for my height and age however I eat plenty and I told him “no. I do not think that way, and I recently gained 6 pounds due to working out. It’s also difficult for me to suddenly start consuming a lot of calories.” His response to this is “close your eyes. Picture yourself eating.” Then he continued to show me myself in the future as an old crippled lady if I didn’t change my lifestyle. This entire conversation was extremely disrespectful and was in shock by his comments that he was quite humored by.

Told me God would not allow me to have children because of my weight, insisted I had an eating problem, and reluctantly wrote me a script to have my blood taken while complaining that "these tests are expensive, I just cant write it for fun". Spent two minutes in the room with me before rushing me out like it was nothing. Waste of my time.

Very kind and caring

He presented the problem and the solution with class and caring. I thought that was a lost art. Very impressive.
