Dr. Khusrow Amir K Niazi, MD

I have only seen Dr Niazi one time in the several years I have had appointments to see him. I either see his techs or his Nurse Practitioner. I have had many tests, but have gotten very little information about them. I am told there is a problem, then I am dismissed with no solution. I am now looking for a Cardiologist who cares something about his patients. Dr. Niazi sure doesn't! And neither does his N.P.

My mother has an extensive medical history along with severe heart issue. She just moved back to Atlanta 2 months ago and the primary care doctor put in the referral for the cardiologist. At the first appointment he came in and explained that he only had 20 mins per patient and that he did not have time to look over her record. He was only concern about the surgical discharge report from a double bypass a year ago and didn't even look at her vitals that day to see her heart rate was 32. The nurses must not have informed him but they were obviously concerned when they saw her heart rate. He gave us wrong information about gathering her past record and would not have his office request her past records. Next visit was with nurse practitioner...no better.

Dr. Niazi is my dad's cardiologist. Dr. Niazi scheduled my dad for his cardiac stress test, but one of his nurses called the DAY BEFORE the appointment to TELL me that I had to reschedule the stress test because Dr. Niazi did not do a a peer-to-peer (insurance authorization) beforehand. Nobody from his office apologized. Then he just pushed my dad off to his nurse practitioner and went on a vacation. Dr. Niazi truly does not care about his patients. Neither him or his team does their job. I'm very disappointed and upset that my dad is under the care of someone so negligible.

Dr. Niazi made me feel as if I was the only patient he had the days that I was at his office and at the hospital. He displays a compassionate, caring manner that makes his patients feel that they are important. He explained every step of the procedure before, during, and after.

Dr. Niazi has been my cardiologist for several years, and I feel that the care I have had has been top-notch. He is thorough, caring, and very easy to talk to. I recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent physician in this speciality.
