Dr. Kian Behbakht, MD

Dr Behbakht is superb! I had high stage fallopian tube cancer and CT hotspots from my pelvis to my throat. Just reached “remission” 5 years after chemo. I cannot thank him enough for the additional time I have and hopefully will have with family.

Dr. Behbakht and his team are well-informed, trustworthy, caring, and communicative. I have had several concerning issues and Dr. Behbakht has addressed them with his vast knowledge combined with the excellent care provided at Anschutz. Nobody wants to have this stuff but having a fantastic doctor makes all the difference. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Diagnosed with stage 3-4 gynecologic cancer spread throughout at least abdomen and pelvis. Started with different provider and ended up in excruciating chemo pain. Switched to Dr Behbakht who kept me from stopping treatment entirely w alternate regime. Cancer free for one year now. He is adaptable to patient needs and doesn’t emphasize OR sugarcoat probabilities. I enjoy working with his fellows too. Superb knowledge and implementation of gynecologic oncology treatments. I found Dr. Behbakht and his staff after my cancer couldn't be controlled by the oncologist who had been treating me. Not wanting to accept the "3-6 months left" diagnosis I became a patient at University Hospital in Dr. Behbakht's trial study. Having been recently diagnosed with uterine cancer, and had a subsequent total hysterectomy, I was looking for a capable, cutting edge doctor who could help me with some uncommon results. Dr. Behbakht has a wonderful bedside manner and is open and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and gave me the time I needed. He gave me some options when I thought I might been almost out of them. We are proceeding on a pro-active path for which I have much hope.
