Dr. Kianoush Kian

I was recommended by Dr. Kian by my optometrist when my right eye was so clouded he told me it had to be repaired. I took his recommendation and I'm very glad I did. The first time I met with him and his staff I knew instinctively he would be the one to do the surgery. I have big issues with anyone messing with my eyes and the thought of replacing the lens had me a little concerned. I told this to Dr. Kian and he just assured (and reassured!) me that it would be ok and I'd be glad I did it. He was very clear on everything involved but I still had doubts. But I went ahead and had the LASIK surgery on 6.24.22 and my concerns were so unwarranted. Dr.Kian, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, everyone was professional but very friendly and I was very much at ease. The results of the operation are already amazing me! It's the first time in over 2 years I can see clearly out of my right eye, the colors are awesome, and I'm at 20/20 in that eye. If you're one of those on the fence about getting… the LASIK surgery and who would do it for you(like I was), I hope this review will give you a little nudge to look Dr. Kian's way.

I had lens replacement surgery by Dr. Kian in 2017 and it was the best decision I have ever made! Prior to surgery, I had difficulty driving at night and reading a menu in a dimly lit restaurant, forget it! I opted to correct both the nearsightedness and farsightedness - I had one eye corrected to see close-up and one eye corrected for distance. The surgery was quick and painless and by the afternoon, my bandages were removed and my vision was almost perfect! After a couple of days, I had adjusted and I now LOVE my "new eyes"! I have been back for follow-up visits and the office staff/dr are always pleasant. I absolutely recommend Dr. Kian and his team! - Lynnette Scheier

I had cataract surgery by Dr Kian and it was absolutely wonderful. From the receptionist to his assistants to the surgery, everyone was so nice and helpful. The surgery itself was was quick, efficient and best of all painless. No Pain during or after. I can see better now than I had for 70 years. I would highly recommend Dr. Kian and no other.

I am surprised at any and all of the negative reviews of this wonderful doctor. His staff is always friendly and greet my by my first name, the wait times are generally short and the people that bring me back are always professional. I have been seeing Dr. K. for 10 years and never once have I had anything to complain about. He and his team have taken the time to explain things and I have always left confident in his recommendations. When it was time for cataract surgery, he new how nervous I was about the procedure, he and his staff were patient with me, got me through it, the process was painless and for the first time in a long time I now have 20/20 vision again. Prior to surgery, Dr. K. took the time with me to review options and make sure that I had the opportunity to review all the options. He could have pushed me towards the most expensive lenses, but instead suggested a lower cost option that he thought would be a better fit for me. As usual he was right. If I… could have given him 10 stars I would. As I said, I am a little shocked at the negative comments, in ten years I have never seen any of the behaviors that the reviews have shown. He and his team are first rate.

This dr read I had breast cancer (I’m cancer free after mastectomy, chemo, 4 surgeries). I went to him for glasses and to check my left eye as my eyelid is droopy. He blatantly told me that his news is very bad and that I’m looking at being treated for an orbital or ocular tumor which is more than likely breast cancer metastasizes to my eye. This man asked if I was British and then told me a racist, stupid joke about the royal family and then laughed and said good look to you! He ordered an MRI and never rushed the report and I waited 6 days for the MRI results. My oncologist called today and I have zero signs of cancer, tumors, nothing!!! I have some nerve damage from chemo and my oncologist has referred me to a neurologist. Dr Kian should be ashamed of himself and I will be reporting him to the medical board. Stay away!!!!

He's a bad doctor. He legally blinded me in the left eye and in the right eye he damaged my retna to the point my retna detached 8 years later. He should have tried drops first instead of laser for the glaucoma . My pressures would've stayed down with drops. All he cares about is money. I've had to have 3 surgeries and injections for the retna. BAD BAD DOCTOR!!!!!!!!! I am blind praying my sight comes back. I said no to the surgery and your office called and scared me in to having a surgery I didn't need.

When I walked into the clinic of Dr. Kian I had little hope of seeing again and refused to to allow my hopes to believe that another doctor would tell me the same things. But, I am now forced to admit to myself that I was promised that I truly could see and and I was somehow feeling the hope of promise. Dr. Kian staff was incredibly polite and catered to my doubts and continually assured me that I was in good hand with the best Doctor and that I should be optimistic which I began to feel. Since both of my eyes were cataract beyond hope in fact many Doctors were afraid to to help me. Dr Kian assured me to place my fears aside and let him try to make my life better. After two operations and 1 month later I had 20-20 vision. From every staff member I encountered to Dr. Kian there was no doubt in their minds that I would one day regain my sight. The staff and Dr. Kian were, no are, miracle workers and I just wanted to tell the world, I can see clearly for the first… time in 12 years. From the my whole heart Dr. Kian I can see all because of you who would not give up on me. My husband had cataract surgery. After a few days he had an issue. Although we were assured that there was an on-call doctor available, there was not. This generated a trip to the emergency room. Our cost for this action was about $300.00. We have asked Dr. Kian to reimburse us for this unnecessary expense. They have failed to answer letters, faxes and other digital requests. While they have not refused, they have simply ignored the request....which is perhaps more disturbing than a refusal. So the review is that if everything goes according to the plan, you're fine. If you have issues, that the Dr. apologized over and over for, the final cost is yours. That is an unacceptable outcome.
