At Maya Medical Spa we provide a variety of procedures, including in-office minimally invasive Liposuction via Cynosure SmartLipo Triplex, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm injections, Laser Hair Removal, Facial and Skin rejuvenation. Dr. Mirkia is board certified in surgery and surgical critical care. He is well experienced in minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic surgery, Robotic Da Vinci Surgery with lowest complication rate and least postoperative pain. Dr. Mirkia personally does all the liposuction procedures as well as all the in office injectables. He deeply cares about his patients and treats all his patients like a family.

I was dying, I had Necrotizing Fasciatis, had surgery to remove bacteria. I coded, coma, and back to life. Dr Mirkia's skin graft work was amazing. Every medical professional that sees my leg, says he preformed a miracle. He not only saved my life, he saved my leg, and I can walk and actually dance and wear heels. Went in for Osteoarthritis of my left knee. He recommended a Platelet Rich Plasma treatment that completely changed my life. My sports performance improved within a week.

Visiting my big brother from San Diego, I needed to find him a better doctor that cared more about getting to the bottom of his illness after 2+ months with no answers. I found Dr. Ziaei, Dr. Mirkia's wife, first online with a 5-star rating from patients. We saw her first and she was awesome. She showed her care by taking time to sit with both of us, look into our eyes (instead of behind a computer), and really listen to what we had to say. She was and is still dedicated to helping my brother. Dr. Mirkia, also on the case of my brothers illness, has the same dedication and care as his wife. He is intent on helping my brother and getting him better. He is also more than happy to talk with me, (sis), to let me know how my brother is and what his progress is. These two doctors are excellent. We can't thank them enough for their TLC. Thank you Dr. Mirkia and Dr. Ziaei! God bless you both for caring!

I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and Dr. Mirkia did the surgery on me at Sunrise hospital. I was able to go home 5 days later and saw him again in his office and he was very gentle and friendly. My husband and I were overwhelmed but he took his time and answered my our questions and referred us to a medical oncologist. Thank you
