Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:My mother is a cancer survivor. I wanted to pursue a career that I could learn more about the disease and potentially contribute in finding more ways of treating it.What I want my patients to know about me:I experienced first hand what it means to be diagnosed with cancer. The experience has helped me relate to and empathize better with what my patients and their families are going through.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I play golf, which I enjoy much more now that I do not play as a pro. I also enjoy writing children's books in my spare time, which will never be published.
