Dr. Kiera Linda Vonbesser, MD

I saw Dr. Von Besser at the ER and she was wonderful - great bedside manner and super knowledgeable. One of the best that I have come across in that setting!

I was having severe lower abdomen and back pain and went to Emory St. Joseph after waiting an hour and a half at Midtown with out being helped. They took me right in at St. Joe and Dr. Vonbesser was an absolute delight, very personable with great bedside manner and knowledge of my situation. I had kidney stones and the Dr., the nurses and technicians were wonderful. I left there feeling much better and would recommend all of them to anyone.

My husband was treated last evening in the St. Joseph's Emergency Room by Dr. Kiera L. von Besser. We could not have been more pleased. Dr. von Besser was thorough in her examination, eager to explain each step and procedure, and came to a diagnosis after several tests and X-Rays. As a precaution, she kept him overnight which turned out to be just what he needed. Her explanation of what was going on, and what needed to be done, was accepted by my husband as the best alternative to treat his condition. She was affable, set him at completely at ease, and talked to both of us in a manner of professionalism, friendliness, and concern. We are so lucky to have found such a caring, competent individual as Dr. von Besser. I realize she was just doing her job, but she did it extremely well. All who were on duty last night were exemplary in treating my husband and we thank each and every one of them for their concern and professionalism.
