Kiersten Aaberg

Kiersten Aaberg, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the State of Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida, and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, Tennessee.

During her physician assistant training, Kiersten completed extensive clinical rotations in dermatology, where she gained experience in comprehensive skin examinations, lesion evaluation, skin cancer identification, dermatologic procedures, and patient education. She also received additional training in surgical specialties, further strengthening her procedural skills and commitment to patient-centered care.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Kiersten worked as a Patient Care Technician at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, providing direct patient care in …a high-acuity hospital setting. In recognition of her compassionate care and dedication to creating a remarkable patient experience, she was honored with the Sunflower Award, an award presented to extraordinary team members who make a meaningful impact on patients, their families, and visitors.

Kiersten is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy skin through prevention, early detection, education, and personalized treatment plans.

Kiersten joined the Dermatology & Laser Center in 2026 and works under the direct supervision of board-certified dermatologist Robert MacNeal, MD.
