Dr. Kim-Ngan Pham Fellman, MD

My mother was literally dying and Dr. Fellman was was her doctor. I talked to her almost daily and initially she was nice. But then, being distraught as I was, I made the mistake of asking her too many questions, questions she couldn't answer. She was very impatient and got angry, telling me, 'you keep asking me the same questions!' Maybe I did, but that's because I couldn't get any good answers. She was likely overworked and frustrated, but showed a real lack of compassion for a family member whose parent was near death. Not a good trait in any doctor.

This physician is a hospitalist at Medical City Dallas. Medical City is an excellent hospital. I don't know why they employ her. She stopped me from having a scheduled surgery because she badly misread en EKG. She violated HIPAA by telling me in front of a waiting room full of patients that I had a blockage that would require an immediate stent. A complete cardiac workup done four days later by my cardiologist was completely normal and he cleared me for surgery. By then my scheduled time had been taken by another patient. She should not be screening patients for surgery.
