I was born in the war torn country of Vietnam, in a small village called Hue. Though my family came to the United States when I was 9 years old, I remember enough of the war to be continually thankful for life and for my freedom. I am grateful for the educational opportunity that I have had here. To become a physician is a life-long dream for me. I received my medical school education at USC, internship training at UCLA/VA Sepulveda, and my residency training at Stanford University. I love living and practicing medicine in California.

I was in so much back pain from a herniated disc and I got referred to Dr. Kim Thai for pain management. I was very nervous about the option for epidural injection, but he made me feel at ease with his great bedside manners. I barely felt any pain from the injection. Now my sciatica pain is so much better! Thank goodness for this wonderful doctor.

Both my husband and I are getting pain management care from this wonderful doctor. We can't be any happier. He's very caring.

Explains everything in such a way that i can easily understand. He is very caring and compassionate. The epidural injection did not hurt at all and it gave me great pain relief.
