Dr. Kim M Zubrinic, MD

Criminal. Kim Zubrinic and her office staff enjoy leaking the personal information of patients. They've participated in gossiping and rumor spreading that goes beyond the bounds of their facility and have COMMITTED HIPAA VIOLATIONS, that constitute gross negligence, depraved indifference and professional misconduct. One star because rating is necessary in order to leave a comment; they all deserve a sanction and a pair of handcuffs instead.

I made an appointment and showed up on time only to be told that no appointment was made! The office staff insisted that there was no appointment existed and never apologized. I should have stopped there but ...I made a new appointment and my appointment with the doctor went fine. Three weeks after my appointment I called for my results but was told they weren't in yet...Four phone calls later...no results...I spoke with a few different people and never got an actual call back from them until two months after my appointment...A medical assistant called saying that someone asked her to call. She insisted that there was no problem with the results and barely apologized. She did a bad job explaining when my follow up appointment should be and basically told me she had no idea. I will never go there again! Horrible incompetent office staff! Will ruin your day and even week! Do not visit!

This review is upsetting to have to post. Dr Zubrinic was our family Dr and we had a great relationship with her and the staff when we moved 7 years ago we were upset to leave them. In 2015 we returned to the area and attempted to make an appointment and start care with her again, we were told it would be 3 months to get an appointment, even after explaining there were some serious medical issues in the recent past I wanted to get monitored again. To no avail the staff made no effort at all to get me in, in that 3 month wait circumstances changed and I lost insurance which forced me to cancel the appointment when it finally came in 3 months. After quite a bit of time I got insurance again and I called and explained that I needed an appointment and again was told 3 months even with again explaining that that was much longer that I think I should be waiting. Looking back I should have went elsewhere and never looked back but I didnt, I finally get in and have my physical mind you… this is almost 1 year since my initial call due to losing insurance while waiting for the initial appointment and 6 months of waiting for appts(3 months for each). After having my physical I waited a week to get my results, I got a phone call at 8am which went to voicemail and the I tried to call back for almost 3 weeks with no return call to let me know about anything from my physical. The staff at the office is different than it was and do not care, if the computer says no appointments they do not care youre just out of luck. The only thing that got me any kind of call was sending a nasty email to the ProHealth website and I was given a story about how this was not the norm and they were very sorry by some manager, but I looked and on other sites this is an ongoing problem to the letter for at least 2 or 3 years before this happened to me with no correction.

Dr. Zubrinic is wonderful. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions and calm any fears that I might have. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Zubrinic is one of the best. She makes it a point to cover everything with you. Although the new system of recording everything as she goes along, take us so much time, she never rushes to get me out.

I saw Dr. Zubrinic for almost 10 years while I was living in Glen Cove. I found her to be very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. She always took the time to answer all of my questions. I would still be seeing her, but I live too far away now. I can definitely recommend her.

She is terrible. She used to be an amazing doctor I'm not sure what happened. She completely misdiagnosed me, barely looked at me, then I had to call her office to tell her I made my own appointment with a specialist and she didn't even come to the phone to apologize she just had her secretary hang up on me. You barely get an appointment and even when you do you wait an hour over your appointment time. She needs to relearn bedside manner because she has totally lost it.

She is a lovely doctor. When I initially started seeing her as my PCP, I thought she specialized in geriatrics because that sums up a majority of her clientele. She is pleasant and knowledgeable. I never had an issue with her not returning my calls. The only negative that I would mention is that it is difficult to schedule appointments, especially yearly physicals.

The office staff is a joke. Had to wait 2 months for an appointment, then it was postponed for another month then two days before the appointment I get a call stating that they are not taking new appointments until four months from now. Are you kidding me? Who is willing to wait six months for a doctors appointment. Great first impression!Never had a chance to see the doctor so I'm not knocking her medical skills, but if she has anything to do with the orginization of the office staff then I would not want her to manage my heath.
