Dr. Kimberley Janet Farmer, MD

I had my first appointment with this Doctor and she was extremely rude. I have a history of complicated pregnancies and miscarriage and she was not concerned one bit. I was not expecting compassion, I expected professionalism for the fact that I have experienced placental abruption, premature birth and, most recently, an ectopic pregnancy. If she gave me 10 minutes of her time that was saying a lot, including the Pap smear. She was more concerned as to why I had made an appointment with a high risk specialist. I explained what a high risk patient I was, even though I feel looking at my chart should have indicated that. At the end of the day, I feel she was more concerned about where I was going to deliver. She didn’t ask me any questions about any symptoms I was feeling during this pregnancy other than if I felt pain. She was very cold and dry and I am writing this review in the hopes that anyone who has a history of loss seeks another medical professional. You will not receive the… care and concern you need with this Doctor.

My sister said that the prognosis looked like something else, but Dr.Farmer failed to explain facts about her condition. My sister said she seemed insensitive and lack compassion. She felt worse!??

Dr. Farmer is an asset to the clinic. I love her bed side manners.

This doctor is terrible. When I was pregnant at 37 and had some blood work done to determine risk of any birth defects she said the results were negative and when I asked for specific personal statistics for each defect she would only said its negative. She does not like a patient who likes to be informed. Then at delivery my water broke with meconium and the nurses were running around getting me ready for a quick c section and farmer came in and said “ I’ll come back and check her in two hours”. I could tell the nurses were shocked. This put my baby in jeopardy but she has to be right and doesn’t want anyone to tell her what to so she will put a baby at risk in order to be I charge. She is a liability. Beware.

This doctor is rude and treats people badly. She was on call when I was pregnant with my son and rushed to the hospital. She came in my room asked why I was there, did I need attention, and was I on welfare, all for no reason. It was hurtful, humiliating, and unnecessary, especially when both me and my husband work. I was there because I had fibroid tumors larger than the baby growing with baby causing tremendous pain, and she didn’t care at all. I have a friend that goes to her and she told me that she hasn’t had a bad experience. But my friend also has been having personal issues and tells this doctor all her business and drama. So I can only imagine that this is why she hasn’t experienced “ the real” Dr. Farmer. Its fine that not everyone has seen her cruel side, however NO one should ever see that side of her. She’s a disgrace.

I do not recommend Farmer to anyone...10 yrs ago my wife an I were expecting our first child and for the first appointment meeting her, all she could talk about was “aborting” the pregnancy...She literally used that term and asked us right away if we wanted to Abort the baby or atleast take some time to make a decisions...Our son is such a stud and I could imagine what my life would be like if he weren’t here...We changed Drs right away and never saw her again.

Had an emergency c section with the other lady on call would not let her touch me farmer came in and she she explained everything that was going to be done.. First pregnancy scared 20 year old but, she did amazing i had perclasmia and very swollen she came in after csection and asked my mom how I was doing and my mom thanked her and was very happy with her work the lady before she came in wanted to do hip to hip ... She did a small cut and was very happy and felt safe necer meet her before I had the csection i would definitely go to her again

Most awful experience I've ever encountered. Made me feel like a lab rat... talk about no personality.. none at all. She makes you feel stupid if you dare ask her any questions. I went in and never looked back... how do we even allow people this awful in the medical field. DISGUSTING!

I wouldn't care that she is cold and impersonal, but the pap smear was so painful and she didn't care in the least. She left quickly without bothering to ask if I had any questions. I had surgery last month that was less painful than this. I will NEVER go back to her again.

Dr. Farmer was not friendly at all. My Pap Smear was very painful and she didn't seem to care. After she was done she didn't even ask me if I had any questions. I left a message for her later that day to ask her some questions and she never called me back. I would strongly advise patients to avoid her.
