I would give Dr. Cox ten stars if I could. Knowing this is my second bout with breast cancer and that I'm triple hormone negative, the front desk person fit me in after hours so I wouldn't have to wait for an appointment a week or two from now. Dr. Cox is knowledgeable, friendly, and very personable; she also has a great sense of humor. She sat with my husband and me and explained the pros and cons of literally everything. Instead of making me write all this info down, she did it. She had no problem with me asking questions, and explained why she answered my questions as she did. The relief for me was knowing that I wasn't the one who had to investigate plastic surgeons and oncologists and try to find someone good, who had a quick opening who also took my insurance and new patients. Her staff is doing all the legwork for me. She had a notebook full of information for me and told me to call if I had anymore questions. Also, her medical assistant, LeeAnn has been a godsend. She… has been so helpful. Thanks, LeeAnn! I am 100% confident in Dr. Cox and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cox for the last 2 years. I was recommended to her by one of my friends that had stage 2 breast cancer. I drive over an hour and a half to get to her office. They are several similar doctors in my area but none are as knowledgeable and compassionate as Dr. Cox. I have dealing with breast cysts since my 20’s and now in my 50’s I feel that I finally have a doctor that understands my concerns and put the correct action behind how to manage them and my treatment plan. She is the best!

I moved away from the Phoenix area. Hated to leave Dr Cox. She was so professional and caring. I always felt comfortable and confident in her care.

This woman is nothing short of AMAZING. Her surgery skills and the way she relates to her patients is Over the top. I can’t say enough good things about her.

Dr. Cox is honest and relatable, and I felt like she took time to be thorough at a very vulnerable time for me and my husband. When you head into a scary situation, it's nice to know all of your options and to be able to create an action plan together. She not only saw me in the hospital after surgery, but called me after discharge at home to check up on me - she did personally- not her assistant - I highly recommend her.

Dr Cox treated me for Breast Cancer in my left breast which was small and slow growing. She is very caring and honest. I would recommend her to anyone, she is one of the best.

After a Goldilocks breast reconstruction and mastectomy, I shared with Dr Cox my extreme tightness and pain 6 months after surgery. She stated it was my weight, and never had this type of complaint before. Another surgeon diagnosed me with Post Mastectomy Pain Disorder. It is common as well. They never informed me i was the 2nd patient they performed this type of reconstruction I had. Just read her medical notes tonight. What a deceitful physicians. Karma should even it up.

I was referred to Dr. Cox by my GP to treat my breast cancer. It was obviously a very scary time but she made me feel better with her confidence that she could treat this effectively and would take good care of me. I was concerned because she is busy but she took a long time with me, as she does every visit, so I never feel like I am rushed. My surgery went well and I am very pleased with her and my care.

Dr Cox was highly recommended by my gynecologist for my breast cancer. She was very reassuring and explained things in detail. I felt much better after seeing her and much more confident in my future.

I asked my doctor to send me to a breast specialist after I was confused about my recent mammogram. Dr. Cox immediately put me at ease, reviewed the pictures with me and my husband in detail and performed an examination. She explained what the radiologist was looking at and why they made the recommendation to come back in a few months. Dr Cox agreed with the radiologist and when we went back a few months later with more pictures, she showed us that the lump was smaller. It was definitely worth the drive from Congress to talk with her and know everything was ok.
