Dr. Kimberly Calica Atianzar, MD

We loved Dr. Atianzar and how she treated our family during my heart surgery. We haven’t met another doctor like her since and she was a massive asset to the Benefis system and is missed. I am not sure why they did not keep her on staff and closed the program down. Having someone that was so thorough and thoughtful and honest about what she was able to do for our family. I haven’t met another doctor who has taken that much time to explain everything in detail from what the problem was and how to address it. Our family is very sad that she is no longer at benefis but we are so fortunate to have been under her care while she was here.

Dr. Atianzar was an asset to great falls and it is such a huge loss to our community. She took care of my aortic valve and talked to me and my family like we were people. She cared for me and saved my life! Her team, especially Morgan, always made us feel respected and is always available whenever me or my wife called with questions or needed help even outside of just fixing my valve.I hope Dr. A comes back to Great Falls!

Dr. Atianzar did my ASD repair about 7 months ago. I was supposed to have a follow-up in February which was my 6 month follow-up after the heart repair of the hole in my heart. When I went to get an ultrasound down of my heart I found out from the technician that she was no longer at Benefis here in Montana. She didn't bother to call me to let me know that she was no longer going to be here I didn't get a call about rescheduling with another structural heart doctor to follow up from my major heart surgery. Not a word radio silence!!! I don't know how you can just leave your patients hanging without a phone call or letting anyone know that you weren't going to be practicing here in Montana anymore!!! That is absolutely the rudest most unprofessional behavior I've ever seen out of a doctor!!! And there's no reason why Morgan could not have called me and let me know and help me reschedule to see somebody else!!! But I had to do that on my own!!! If that's your standard of care if that's… how you care for your patience you just get the surgery money and and disappear and you should be ashamed of yourself!! That is not standard of care and that's not how people should be treated!!! Karen Grindstaff
