I grew up in Southern Maryland. In 1997, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland. I graduated in 2001 with my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School.
All through dental school and college I worked as a dental assistant in a large practice in Greenbelt with three generations of dentists. After graduation, I was immediately hired and spent two years working and learning in their group practice.
In 2003, I had the opportunity to start my own practice with Dr. Leary in Gambrills close to my home. I was honored to receive the top dentist award from 'What's Up Annapolis' magazine in 2008.
I married Sean Hylind in 2002. We live in Severn. Sean works as a financial analyst. My husband Sean and I have a son Griffin. We love dogs and have a yellow Labrador and a Golden Retriever.
