Dr. Kimberly Ann Cronin, MD

Other reviewers have described Dr. Cronin as rude, condescending, dismissive, and belittling. In my opinion, all of those characterizations are accurate. However, I believe Dr. Cronin's faults go beyond even those serious issues identified in previous reviews. Specifically, I would describe Dr. Cronin as being aggressively hostile if she concludes that you have wronged her by not providing her information to which she feels she is entitled. For example, my minor child was her patient. She called a meeting with me recently, ostensibly to discuss potential treatments for my kid. However, in actuality, the meeting is better described as an ambush. She opened the "conversation" (really, harangue) by accusing me multiple times of having "lied" to her by not sharing certain treatment my daughter was receiving from another provider. That treatment was for care for mental health issues that I believed Dr. Cronin was not able to provide. I was shocked and taken aback that she would… accuse me of lying, rather than attempting a civil discussion to try to get the information she felt she needed. I strongly urge you to avoid this doctor!

Was seen in the Eugene Urgent Care facility last week by another doctor, I told to have lab tests done and I would receive the results by the following Wednesday. And that if my symptoms did not improve to come back to the Urgent Care for a referral to a specialist. I returned to the UC today to get the results of the tests. While there, the nurse asked if my symptoms had improved. When I told him they had not, he advised that I be seen by the physician on duty. When Dr. Cronin entered the exam room she immediately began lecturing me that I should not be using the UR for acute symptoms, and should see my PCP. She was not interested in the fact that I only came there to get my test results and that her nurse was the one that advised me to be seen by the physician. Had I not already been in an examination gown, I would have walked out the door. It was only after my wife spoke up and told her " I'm sorry we are wasting your time and that we will go somewhere else". She was rude,… condescending and made us feel embarrassed and that we were wasting her time. She told me she was referring me to a specialist and that there was nothing else she could do for me. And that if my symptoms worsened that I should go the ER not the UC. However the after visit summary she provided specifically instructed me to return to the UC if my symptoms worsen or fail to improve. If in the future I am in need of going to the UC I will call first to ensure that a doctor other than Dr. Cronin is on duty.

This doctor is, by far, the worse doctor I have ever delt with. She is rude, condesending and doesn't listen to her patients.

Dr Cronin saw me in the Emergency room here at Cottage grove I cant say enough about her genuine concern for my rather weird issue. She seemed genuinely interested in what was going on even after my visit I look forward to sharing my current results with her.
