Dr. Kimberly Ann Dauerman, MD

Nice doctor, but a "BIG HOWEVER", she prescribed a drug for me that carries a Black Box warning put out by the FDA (for tendon damage and peripheral neuropathy(Nerve Pain, dysfunction) - for potentially long-term, permanent side effects, many of which I got. By the time I realized what was going on--relating the pain and harmful side effects from this drug, the damage had already started and continued to get worse. After over one year, I'm still partially disabled from this drug... in the meantime I the doctor's appointments and physical therapy expenses continue and I'm not back to work yet! Can't understand why we pay doctors to give their professional advice, when we need to do our own research first on the medicines they prescribe! By the way, the pharmacist failed me on this one also. No verbal warning was given on the drug having a Black Box warning!
