Dr. Kimberly A De Stefano, MD

I was very impressed with the coordination and punctuality of my appointment. When it was made, I was given an approximate time of how long the appointment should take. I was pleased that upon arrival, I was called back very quickly. I did not have to wait long in the room. It was very well coordinated and timely with each person that had to see me. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. DeStefano.

Dr. De Stefano is awesome, she really made me feel comfortable talking with her and she did an outstanding job of explaining everything. The staff there was so nice and fun. My husband and I were there once a week and they always made us feel at home. I even visited Dr. DeStanfo after my son was born. She wanted us to come by and say hi. She is amazing!

Dr. DeStefano and her staff are top notch. Could not recommend her highly enough. I was on bed rest in the hospital for several weeks before my twins were born, and Dr. D would spend 25-30 minutes visiting with us when she was making her rounds. He office staff are very helpful and on top of things. Can't imagine a better experience.

Dr. DeStefano and her staff take everything about me into consideration and provide both excellent medicine and a sense that she actually cares about our family.Our primary OB helped set our expectations so we knew that seeing an MFM meant something could be wrong with mom or baby and that everyone who goes to see her is in a similar position. So we expected to wait so that proper care could be provided for each of her patients. Our wait wasn't as bad as others claim but even if it was I'd take a wait over someone processing patients. Most comforting was the fact she actually came into the hospital to see us when things went unexpectedly. Our previous pregnancy was much more frustrating when we were serviced by another MFM group. We know we are getting the best possible care at NAMFM with Dr. DeStefano.

I had gestational diabetes during pregnancy so I went to see Dr. S, almost every other week. I believe on average, I spent > 1 hr waiting for her and really only talk to her for <5 minutes! It became so bad that I asked if I can just leave after the nurse had checked me out already and if Dr. S has anything to tell me, she can call me. My longest wait time was 2 hrs!! and I had my husband, daughter and mother-in-law all waiting. We finally asked the front desk what is going on after a hr of waiting and they said, oh, we are running a little behind but we will see you very soon. Very soon was another hour! I am preg with my 3rd child now, and I will ask my Dr. if she can recommend someone else, I don't have the time to wait for her.

you'll know about all the negative possibilities if you talk to her. she even doesn't know which month you are because her ofiice forget to update your visits in the file. She did CVS testing and confirmed that she got enough sample. But the lab says they didnt. when we asked why she said that sometimes cells dont grow due to chromosome problem. Then she said that she had set up one enquiry to know if the sample was lost during transportation to the lab or not...how can she said about the baby's chromosome problem to the parents when she set up enquiry about the babys lost sample or not?

We saw Dr. DeStefano when she was just opening her new office. They took such great care of us from start to finish...very cool people.

Dr. DeStefano is by far the best peri in Austin. All her staff is caring and really listens. I always felt very informed and never felt rushed. She always went above and beyond when it came to the health and safety of the baby. This was my second pregnancy and I had more complications than with the first. I know that if I would have gone to the same peri I had for my first that the outcome would not have been as good. Thanks to Dr. DeStefano, I have a healthy baby. Even when put into the hospital, she came in and did the ultrasounds herself as well as checked in with me until the baby was born. Words cannot express how thankful we are for all that she has done!!!

Dr DeStefano is great. She is very informative. She is also very easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Dr. De Stefano Is an amazing doctor. Her office is so friendly and knowledgeable. There is consistency in the office which is a refreshing change from my normal experiences at Dr's offices. I have never left an appointment with questions or in doubt of any information I have received. She allows plenty of time for me and doesn't over book. I never feel rushed. Dr. De Stefano sincerely cares about my health and the baby's health. .When it was determined that it was safer for me to complete my pregnancy in the hospital Dr. De Stefano was there with me every step of the way. She stops in to see me everyday and takes all the time she needs to insure that the baby and I are healthy. She is very in-tune with us. I can tell she truly loves what she does. There are no amount of words I can say to thank her for making my pregnancy as healthy as possible.
