Summary
Therapy is a journey for which all people can benefit in order to take charge of their lives and make intentional choices to find joy in the midst of a chaotic world. My focus in therapy is to help adults adjust to various life transitions and traumas. These transitions may be due to retirement, parenthood, or moving into adulthood. The transitions may be by choice, such as marriage, or by force, such as a work-related injury. No matter what the cause of the life transition, I am dedicated to helping you learn how to identify the skills you already possess, strengthen these skills, and then learn new skills in order to make the life changes you desire. I will help you learn how to manage the emotional impact of these life transitions, which may include depression and anxiety. You will acquire a realistic vision of your present circumstances and gain hope for a future created through these circumstances, but not defined by them. I look forward to the opportunity to come alongside you …and help you grow during this season of change.
