Dr. Kimberly Ann Garren-Hudson, DO

Dr. Hudson is beyond great! I have been a patient for 15+ years and have always been happy. She is attentive, helpful and always answers all my questions.

I saw Dr. Hudson a year ago when I had left sided weakness and severe neck and head pain. I also mentioned the change in mental status and memory loss I was experiencing. I had gone to many Drs. previously in an attempt to find answers but wasn't able to find a cause. Dr. Hudson saw the many appointments to specialist and immediately called me a "doctor shopper". I had no idea what that was but later realized she thought I was shopping for pain killers. I did not and never had I taken any sort of painkiller outside of being in the hospital. I asked her if she could order an imaging test but she dismissed me saying it was not in her specialty to order one for my arm weakness and lost of movement. She sent me out in tears. I went on for a year not seeing a Doctor due to the stress and skepticism I experienced. I was then rushed to the hospital. An MRI was performed and results showed 3 blood clots in my brain and suggestion of stroke occurrence. I had Increased Intracranial… Pressure and swelling within my skull. As of now there are no clots present after self injections of lovenox and warfarin. My cognitive function came back with improving memory function. I had an incredible team of doctors who didn't judge me and took immediate initiative to figure out my weakness and pain. Dr. Hudson delayed my treatment and in doing so I nearly lost my life.

She is an excellent doctor--very caring and compassionate. She takes the time to listen to you.

I am new to Ohio and received two recommendations. She is everything they said. She makes you feel like she has all the time to talk to you and cares about how you feel. She is incredibly proactive in improving your health.

She is very nice to patients, and seems to enjoy her job. Very knowledgeable about many different ailments. She always follows up after appointments. Nursing staff is great also! Office staff could definitely use some improvement. They aren't always patient or understanding. You can always sense their stress by how they act on the telephone when scheduling.
