Dr. Kimberly King, MD

This was awful. She induced me bc it was a holiday. She told me I needed a c section bc it was taking too long. They were so rough with me. She was hateful to me in the OR when I cried bc I was afraid she told me there was nothing to be crying over. I feel traumatized now and I most likely always will. I have panic attacks thinking of how she treated me in the labor room and in the OR. My second birth was in another facility and a different doctor. Much better perfect experience. I never knew how awful Dr king was until I found a GOOD dr!!!!

Dr. King delivered my 2nd baby two months ago. My first pregnancy I went into preterm labor starting at 26 weeks. She kept me calm and explained everything. This pregnancy I had gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. At every appointment I could tell she was genuinely concerned for me and my baby. During the birth the baby's shoulders got stuck and then I had a bleeding issue. And in her calm and reassuring voice she explained everything and kept me from having any anxiety about what was happened. She has since tied my tubes. I have ALL the confidence in the world for Dr. King and recommend her to all the women I know! She is the absolute best!!!!

She preformed my c-section with my first baby. She didn't want me to continue laboring because it was a holiday weekend approaching. In the OR I said I was scared and she blew me off seeming annoyed saying she has had 2 c sections and they are nothing. No comforting for her patient who was nervous. My incision was so messed up. I had bruises all over my torso from the rough way they handled me in the OR. She allowed me to be put to sleep after he was born and let him be taken to The nursery even though nothing was wrong. I didn't want it to be like that. I was so doped up on pain meds for the first week. Since going to a new doctor I have found out I was prescribed way to much. She never checked on me again in the hospital. I was suffering greatly with postpartum anxiety at my 6 week check up and she had zero bedside manor or time to listen that day and sent me on my way without help. I will never forget how poorly I was treated.

I went to see Dr. New King to speak to her about problems with my PCOS and trying to conceive. This was my first visit with her, so she knew literally nothing about me except what I told her. She did not do any research into my diagnosis of PCOS or have any records sent over showing my blood works/tests done. She immediately wrote me prescriptions for Clomid and Metformin (which could lower my blood sugar, how did she know I didn't already have low blood sugar?) to help me get pregnant, without ordering any tests, such as: a sperm analysis on my husband, blood tests, verifying that I did indeed have PCOS, nothing. She handed over the prescriptions with a brief explanation and did not ask to see me in her office to be monitored during my treatment, which, to me, is unacceptable. She was not personable and seemed as though she couldn't care less about my problem. As she went to walk out, I smiled and said, "Thank you so much; this is so exciting!" She looked at me, then looked away and… walked out. No "good luck," "have a great day," nothing. If you are someone who is looking for a personable doctor that cares about what is causing your infertility and you want a great doctor to help you on your journey of motherhood, Dr. New King is not the doctor for you. I was extremely disappointed.

Dr. New delivered two of my children and she was the best doctor I could had asked for. When she announced that she was leaving to go to Tennessee, I wanted to cry because when I decide to have my next child I cant call her to get an appointment

Very nice doctor, very thorough and very good bed side manner.
