Dr. Kimberly A Kuncl

Never go to her. She has personal issues. I went to her once back in 2015 and again in 2018 after my insurance changed back. Upon returning she was a different person. She doesn’t listen, cuts you off, and really just rude. She got upset because I declined birth control but didn’t let me state that it was because I was wanting to try for a baby. No matter what she will push birth control on you then get smart mouthed a rude because you have control over your own body. Always does a pelvic exam EACH visit even if you don’t need one. I think that’s odd. I hope she gets the help she needs because only an unhappy evil person would treat a PATIENT with such disrespect. Please be warned. Stay far away.

Dr. Kuncl is by far THE WORST physician that I did not have a pleasure in meeting. From the moment she stepped in the room she was very hostile, sarcastic & disrespectful. She kept correcting what I was saying by cutting me off mid-sentence & stated statements suggesting I shouldn’t be there. Like “if I lined 100 women up with this same issue, they wouldn’t have this problem” as if I was lying & when o asked if this isn’t the issues causing my problem should I go back to the ER. She stated the emergency is for emergencies & not for my issue. I had enough of her constant interruptions, that she made to try to belittle me & very rude remarks when I informed of personal info that she made me repeat as if she did not hear me. I finally asked her if she had a issue or was something wrong with her because she was being rude. Her response was “I’m from Chicago, I’m very direct” I responded “I’m from Detroit but I’m not being disrespectful to you.” She then stopped everything & stated well we… don’t have to continue & you can leave w/o pay & walked out. Where you’re from does not give you an excuse/right to be rude & ignorant to people that you signed up to help. She has a degree so I know she should know better. However, I understand that people are raised different but maybe she should choose another career because helping people should not have been her first choice. She’s in it for the money DO NOT CHOOSE HER AS YOUR GYNECOLOGIST.

She is no patient with you and also rude.

I love this all-female practice & have been going to it since 2001. Dr. Kuncl has been my OB/GYN since then and removed a cyst in 2002. My one complaint is that the wait times have totally gotten out of control. I ended up deciding to switch my preferred provider to the midwife in the practice, Sara Gorham, after she delivered my baby earlier this year. However, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kuncl to anybody; she is a great listener, has good beside manner and is a great doctor.
