Dr. Kimberly Kyker, MD

Dr. Kimberly Kyker is a sports medicine physician at  AnMed Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Anderson, South Carolina. She chose medicine because she finds the human body both fascinating and resilient. Her specialty in sports medicine allows her to provide nonsurgical care for musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients return to sports, work and independent living. Dr. Kyker's approach blends her passion for healthy living with her skills in treating and educating patients. She believes that staying physically active is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves and feels grateful to help others embrace it. She treats both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions using a range of nonsurgical techniques. These include ultrasound-guided injections of joints, nerves, and tendons with anesthetics, steroids, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), or prolotherapy.
