I had my baby on Sept 2020 (during the pandemic) so we had no family at the hospital except the staff members. Dr.Matthews was very patient and motivated me to push harder every time. My labor lasted over 36 hours with 5 hours of pushing.She never once gave up on me and that really helped me stay confident during the whole time. I had an assisted vaginal delivery where a vaccum had to be used since by baby’s heart rate started to drop and he had passed a bit of meconium. We are forever grateful for that decision she made since she could have easily performed a C section and delivered the baby but she respected my wishes and hard work (pushing for 5 hours straight) and tried till the very last moment. Post delivery she checked in on me regularly and answered all my questions and cleared my doubts patiently.Would definitely recommend Dr.Matthews.

Very caring compassionate Dr. with the Herat of Gold. up to date with evidence based practice. Highly recommended. She makes you feel as you are the only patient .

Dr. Mathews is a personable and caring professional who always takes the time to listen to my concerns. She puts me at ease and makes me feel valued as a person and patient. While I can't say I look forward to my annual well-woman exam, I can say that I look forward to talking to her and knowing that I will leave feeling confident about my health and well-being.
