Dr. Kimberly Misamore, MD

This Dr. Had been very friendly and efficient in the past until recently. This Dr’s office does not mail lab or test results, they do not have a patient portal, and will only call you with the results. I “missed” the one time this Dr called and “poor me”. I guess I missed my chance to receive the diagnoses/lab test results. I called three days in succession to receive the results and was not able to get past the receptionist to talk to the Dr, and in addition, the Dr. still has not called me back, in spite of the promise that I would receive a call today. In addition to that, I was told by the receptionist that the Dr. had been trying to call me, but that was not true, as only one call the week before was done by the Dr. I.E., that first call, ....and the message said for me to call her back. I regret that I have to give this Dr. a poor rating based upon patient attentiveness, as I still can not get the lab test results.

I'm so glad I found Dr. Misamore. She is awesome! She is friendly, kind and caring. And it seems she is always smiling. She explains procedures with plenty of information and always makes sure I don't have any questions or concerns. I never feel rushed or uncomfortable when seeing her. I highly recommend her!

I liked the dr, she took her time getting my history. My issue is with the office. I called after a week for results, this office does not use a patient portal, & was told by the receptionist that my labs were lost. Initially she said they lost them then said the lab lost them. I was upset because here it was a week later & the office never called to tell me about it. Then the office mgr took the call & at first questioned her told me this, then said the receptionist was correct, then said there was no need to be concerned because the culture wasn't even due back yet. I told her I was informed the lab lost it so how can you say the results aren't due back yet? She said she would call the lab herself and look into it. The next day she called to say the specimen was lost. No explanation on how this happened, why no one in the office was aware or why the lab didn't call them to say they lost the specimen. I asked to make sure I am not getting billed for this and now I am going to my FP… for the tests. I have a trust issue as well as a confidence in the staff at this practice. It's a shame cause the dr was nice.

Dr. Misamore recently came onboard with Women's Health of Mansfield. I was already an established patient of 8 years with Dr. Westerholm when I became pregnant approx 8 mo ago. Since I was deemed high risk, I have frequented their office quite a bit and have had the opportunity to meet and be treated by Dr. Misamore as well as Dr. Westerholm. Now, I adore Dr. Westerholm but Dr. Misamore is right on par with her standard of care. She always enters the exam room with the most loving smile and you can tell she has a true passion for the medical profession and her patients. Plus, she's super knowledgeable. I came in due to uterine contractions in my second trimester and she was able to narrow down the cause and start me on a medication that immediately relieved my symptoms. After researching her findings, I discovered that the particular issue I had could lead to premature labor so I was very thankful she caught it with such ease! I've always loved this office but since the… addition of Dr. Misamore, I love it even more.
