Dr. Kimberly Freeland Owens, MD

I ended up with her as my doctor when my doctor retired. She puts on a good act about caring . She doesn't. Once she realized I was on Medicare, I got pushed back on time. She would see a patient who has "good" private insurance while I waited. I'm a nurse & knew often what was wrong with me. She did not listen. She would tell me, YOU can't afford that med or since I'm running behind, we can make another appointment to see about this. She would find other doctors to send me to without her treating the problem. She didn't check lab work and I ended up very ill. I lost a friend that was a diabetic that she told him he wasn't in danger. He died that night. She also told a friend she thought his problem was eating "Southern Food". He had eaten turnip greens . ( canned without seasoning) He was having a heart attack and she sent him home. not once but twice in about a 6 hour period. I have a moved to a new doctor. I would not trust her.

Dr. Owens spent more time with me on my initial visit than all my doctors combined over the past 10 years!She listens and asks questions. She was thorough in her examination and referred me to specialists where needed. Very positive experience.
