Dr. Kimberly Celeste Trotter, MD

Saw Dr. Trotter after trying to find a diagnosis for over a decade. My hopes were quickly slashed within a few minutes of speaking with her. She told me that yes I have symptoms, yes my labs are abnormal and have been for some time, but there was nothing she could do for me. I was shocked. I asked her who she thought I should see next or what the next step would be if she couldn’t help, and all she recommended was managing the pain with injections, which I quickly declined as I’m tired of masking the pain and want answers. She then said I should lose weight. I was in tears most of the time.

Doctor Trotter has responded personally to every one of my inquiries. Talks on my level, listens to my concerns, answers my questions, and has great bedside manner. Find her to be very professional.

This doctor has poor communication skills and lacks compassion. She has no respect for people much older than her. She doesn't believe any other outside doctors or previous records, as she seems to only believe in her hospital. She can't give you a hand shake, as she grabs onto a couple fingers and does so as if it's too much for her. Don't waste your time when U of C has many others in this field. I regret I didn't wait it out for the one I originally wanted. She observes you more than she talks to you. Again, don't waste your time on this doctor. Get someone else! The hospital is great and everyone I encountered were top of the line.
