Dr. Kimberly Vanderzee, MD

She doesn’t do any tests or labs before making a diagnosis. Very concerning. People are going to her for help for a medical concern and she seems disinterested.

Poor bedside manner. Complacent, dismissive, and in a hurry. Constantly overbooked. Throws up her hands and gives up when an issue is outside her area of expertise. Also gives poor referrals, e.g. sent me to a nutritionist who acted as though I were a kid and condescendingly explained the food groups and portion control while advising me to just eat 1,400 calories a day.

I was not impressed with Dr. Vanderzee and will not be going back. I have several chronic health issues and on the first visit she actually prescribed some medication that could have had serious contraindications if taken. She should have recognized what was out of her area of expertise and sent me to a specialist. She was also in a hurry and appeared to be impatient. She left the room before answering all of my questions.

Dr. Vanderzee is very thorough in her visits and thinks about the whole body in reference to her treatment approaches. She understands when something is out of her scope and is happy to refer patients.
