Dr. Kimberly Ann Wood, MD

I have been going to dr. Wood for a number of years and I have had very good experiences with her. She is caring and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I have to wait longer than I think is necessary but when you do see her she spends quality time with you discussing your medical needs. She is an excellent doctor. I would always recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Wood for years and I have always received excellent treatment. She is always on top of whatever you are seeing her for. She has always been spot on for finding what your problem is and goes to great lenghts to get you the right treatment or refer you to someone else if need be. Dr. Wood is very caring to her patients and gives excellent service. Her staff is always friendly and helpful also. I hope she never retires.

Knew what insurance I had, scheduled appointment. Sat there forever, then was told they don't accept my insurance, and then said the hospital made the mistake, she thought I was someone else. Reception let it slip she thought I was Medicare. Called my home health after refusal to see me and told them to stop seeing me! She isn't even my doctor. Without home health, chances of dying are huge. Saw her assistant and her nurse, but when she saw me in the hall, turned on her heel and went the other way, wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. Extreme unprofessionalism!

Although you may have to wait to be seen, she takes the time to thoroughly educate you. A very smart doctor! I recommend her if you're struggling to manage your diabetes and/or need to lose weight.

the staff is very friendly and the doctor seems knowledgeable, however it does take almost 4 hours to complete an appointment that shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes.

We have been trying to get Dr. Wood to test our mother and take her symptoms of dementia seriously. We were always blown off and this was never done. Today, mom had to go in for the new Obamacare 'wellness' checkup and all of a sudden Dr. Wood starts to ask her all these questions and gives us a dramatic diagnosis of 'Alzheimers' and makes a big deal of treatment and such . . . when we could not even get her to even broach the subject with mom or us for years. We have a feeling she realized she had dropped the ball and that there was liability and malpractice, so this was all a big show to cover her rear end. We are now reaching out to find other patients of Dr. Wood via newspaper and social media ads, because we feel that there are many like my mom out there who received the same, callous, shabby and substandard treatment. NOT a good doctor!

Dr. Wood cares about her patient; she takes time to listen to you, and you don't feel rush. Yes, I have to wait, but when it is my turn, I feel like I am taken care of and in good hands.

Her staff is very unfriendly and incompetent. She is condescending.

I did have a wait to see her but was very pleased with the time she spent with me during my new patient initial visit. I have never had a doctor listen to me like she did. Having test results emailed me. Follow up visit in 2 months. Going to have my daughter go to her as well. I would rather wait for a great doctor than run right through and wonder if they even heard what I said or if they properly diagnosed me.
