She also serves as an advisory member to the School of Sleep Medicine's continuing medical education committee. In 2019, she chaired an Associated Professional Sleep Societies symposium on women and sleep …disorders. She has been an invited speaker on women and sleep disorders for the California Sleep Society. She also lectures for an undergraduate course at Stanford University titled Sleep and Dreams. She has made media appearances as an expert on women and sleep disorders as well as on obstructive sleep apnea.
