I had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Kingsley Eboru during my first appointment. I was attending the session virtually from my parked car due to my work schedule. At the start of the session, I became distressed after seeing an ICE vehicle, and I tried to explain this to him as it triggered fear due to my immigration status. Instead of offering support or even listening, he asked me if I was schizophrenic, raised his voice, and told me to “control myself” while I was crying and clearly scared. He completely dismissed my fear and made the situation worse. I left the session feeling worse than before and deeply disrespected. I would not recommend this provider to anyone, especially those from vulnerable or marginalized backgrounds.
