Dr. Kinnari Rahul Kher, MD

Stay away!!!! Terrible doctor. Even though I was an established patient, she was difficult to get an appointment with. I was very sick and had to repeatedly beg her staff for appointments. During the appointments, she was very rushed and did not listen to me. She kept me on the same one medication which was clearly not working even though I asked about others. She failed to adequately escalate my medication during a serious flare and ultimately I had to undergo total colectomy (surgical removal of the colon), get an ostomy, and then undergo 2 additional surgeries for a jpouch and a normal life. She doesn’t know how to manage serious conditions. Again, stay away!!!

As a patient of Dr. Kher's for many years, administratively, the office is a mess. It's very difficult to get through to the office, its typical for her to be running an hour behind, there is disorganization for sure. It still feels worth it to me because she is a doctor that just really cares and wants to figure out how to get you feeling better-not just write you off if the first standard treatment doesnt work. I have referred numerous friends to her- she's not someone who writes patients off as it being all in their head. She is never hesitant to include additional consults/specialists and work to identify who would be a good fit- even out of her hospital system. She is fantastic with trauma survivors and LGBT friendly. She is creative in thinking outside of the box and has never given up on helping me. She's truly a great doctor.

Dr. Kher is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. She is so thorough and extremely kind. One of the best physicians I have every encountered.

Dear patients. Please read reviews by other patients and save yourself from this mediocre doctor. She has zero confidence and knowledge. Just terrible.

Not Great But Not Too Bad

secretary very disorganized, office does not get back to patientsdoctor addresses diagnosis and surrounding issues the way a textbook would,but does not seem to take into consideration an individual's unique circumstance and how that may relate to the problem

Poor communications skills. Seems to be not confident in her diagnosis.

Dr. Kher is extremely intelligent, highly competent, and very professional, caring, and pleasant. I had seen different doctors about my Schatzki's ring in the past, but Dr. Kher was the only one who clearly explained everything to me about my condition & the different options I could pursue in the future to avoid complications. I wish I were still living in Boston so I could have her as my doctor.
