Dr. Kiran Rajnikant Modi, MD

First visit there , his wife was not very friendly , a little stressed maybe ?The receptionist was very nice to deal with . My last visit , the Dr made a statement that I was morbidly obese ,which I am not because my BMI is only 33.2 I think that was very wrong , distasteful , and rude . Will probably change to another Dr.

The office manager which is also dr modi’s wife is the rudest person I ever encountered in my life. She talks down to my mom and I along with other patients in the room. She have no definition of privacy or respect. She makes us feel so uncomfortable that we decided to find a new cardiologist. The doctor is great, but we can’t deal with office staff like this.

Dr. Modi is an exceptional Cardiologist. I've been going to him since 2004 and he's the only Dr I look forward to going to. He spends time with me, answers all of my questions and he explains everything in a way I understand. I respect his expertise and feel very confident I chose the right Cardiologist.

Horrible horrible office staff! Rude does not begin to cover it! I called the office to make an appointment after first inquiring if my insurance was accepted. The woman I spoke to assured me it was, told me what I needed from my PCP, and said I could come in the same day to fill out the new patient paperwork and then my appointment would be scheduled. I made the time in my schedule to go do just that. I gave the woman I spoke to my insurance and ID while she gave me the paperwork to fill out. I was halfway finished when, who I am assuming is the office manager, very rudely called me to the window, shoved the cards in my face and said "we no take this insurance." I asked "Why was I told on the phone that you do?" She got extremely rude with me and accused me of being a liar. That is no way to do business! Doctors need to remember they are running a service business. We are customers above all and will take our business elsewhere.

Basically told me on first visit that my prognosis was bleak.

He is an excellent doctor and a caring person, his staff is excellent, his explanation is exquisite, his reasoning profound and bedside manner is perfect. All the dissatisfied people do not understand the problems of renewing meds by fax can be dangerous. He can explain all the fools who want #2 for lunch from McDonalds! medicine is still art and his office policy is for our(patients) safety.

I've experienced problems with office staff. I'm not able to get renewals on my prescriptions because they will not accept a fax from my mail order prescriber. This has frustrated me to looking for another cardiologist. This office staff gets zero stars from me! The nurse tried to blame me for their not accepting calls or fax's.

This doctor ignores female signs and symptoms of heart disease. You better not be a female having a heart attack because he will fail to treat you. His skills are mediocare at best and his wife runs his office and has struck a former employee at their office.

I live 20 miles from the doctors office (40 miles round trip). I only needed the doctor to sign a release form (he had previously examined me about 8 days before). I called the doctors office the day before about the release form and was told by office staff after they consulted with the doctor that he would sign it. When I arrived the doctor was busy and since all I needed was his signiture, I asked if I could leave the form and they could fax to me. I was informed that they did not fax nor do they call in prescriptions. Since I never expected any delay with getting the doctors signiture i hade made another appointment that i had to go to I had tio leave. Now I have to make another 40 mile round trip just for a signiture.
