Dr. Kiran Kumar Sharma, MD

I went into the office because I believed I was having cardiac episodes. I had been there previously and saw a different doctor in the office and they ran an EKG and recommended a stress test to ensure all was well. She also told me that if I ever had another episode, I should come in as soon as possible to be checked. So that's what I did. The front desk staff did a great job of working me in on the day that I called which told me they were taking it seriously. Unfortunately, when i met with Dr. Sharma, I was not only humiliated and questioned about why I was even there, but she also complained to me that her staff had "double booked" her with me and it didn't even seem like an urgent reason. I couldn't believe she actually said that to me. I have had a lot of health issues since I've been with their practice for 2 years and she had the nerve to go through my list of ailments (broken foot, double ear infection, bloody stool, etc.) and specialists that I had seen and asked why I had… been going to all of these doctors. Basically calling me a hypochondriac. I started crying because I was really concerned about what was happening to my body and she didn't seem to be concerned. Then she asked me why I was crying - I felt like she was bullying me at this point. I just told her I wanted to know what was going on with me. So she "humored" me by giving me an EKG but said she thought I was just having panic attacks. That's all she had to say. I only thought they were cardiac episodes because no one had told me it could be anything else. She's the doctor, not me. I was completely mortified by this visit and have been stewing over it for the last 2 weeks before writing this review. I will be looking for a new practice and be transferring my records as soon as possible from Mechanicsburg Family Care. Please be forewarned.
