Dr. Kirby Isaac Bland, MD

I was diagnosis over five years ago with Breast cancer at a Another Hospital. The Dr./Radiologist at the first hosp. missed it. I started searching for another Doctor on my own, Dr. Bland was recommended to me, he is one of the top Drs. in Birmingham in his field and in the Southeast region. He is a very professional, thorough & courteous Doctor. He shoots straight, no play. But he cares about his patients 24/7. Dr. Bland immediately ask for ten years of my records at the previous Hospital, and had his number one Radiologist go over them and find where the last group missed the boat on the diagnosis. They found it 18 mo. Dr. Bland and his colleagues immediately started testing, get things in order to see what the best treatment would be. His Staff are all good, they are very busy, trying to get everything Dr. Bland Needs for his patients, not later, then, that is why they are always in a run. I was Blessed to be on Dr. Bland and associate Doctors Round Table group (Care plan).… Patients from all over the Southeast come and are sent to see him from other Doctors. Before you say something Bad about these Physicians check out their background. The credentials' are there. They all don't always have the Wal-Mart greeting you might be expecting every time, but the knowledge is definitely there.

When he first came in the room he seemed nice and compassionate, but he quickly showed his true colors. Very rude and judgemental. Please stay away from this doctor. He not only gave the wrong diagnosis, his bedside manner is horrible. He needs to retire!
