I had a great experience delivering my baby with Dr. Watkins. When I was only 6 weeks along I thought I was having a miscarriage. Dr. Watkins was the on call doctor over the weekend and she was willing to open the office on a Saturday to do an ultrasound for me. This meant the world to me. She was always kind and I trusted her. I also appreciated that she was so thorough. She ordered extra blood work and ultrasounds in my last trimester to make sure that everything was looking okay. She was able to see that I had developed gestational thrombocytopenia. She had me get my blood work done weekly and scheduled an induction for me to make sure that I would be eligible for an epidural. During the delivery, she and the nurses at Avista did everything they could to prevent a c-section since my baby was not responding well to the labor. I was so appreciative of this and I was able to deliver vaginally. She also stitched me up well after a 3rd degree tear. My experience with her was great and I… would definitely recommend her!
