Kirk K. Cohil, D.D.S.
 Dr. Kirk Cohil received his undergraduate degree (B.S.) from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1995. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1999. Immediately after dental school he completed a postgraduate residency (GPR) from the University of Florida at Shands Hospital in 2000. This intense residency has trained him to confidently treatment plan and restore complex dental cases. It has also fine tuned his surgical skills in both the knowledge and placement of dental implants.
 He is an active member and leader in the dental community. He presently plays an active role in the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, Central Florida District Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Florida Dental Association. Dr. Cohil is committed to continuing education and spends many hours each year with the very best in the dental field and local community. He continues his education through …memberships with the prestigious Seattle Study Club, the Frank Spears Series, and the Dawson Institute. He is also a member of three local study groups, made up of referring dental specialists and other well-established dentists in the community. It is here, where minds collaborate on unique approaches to challenging dental situations.
 Dr. Cohil is dedicated to giving back to the local community and those in need. He regularly volunteers at the Orange County Research Clinic and provides treatment to patients who are unable to receive dental care elsewhere. He also participates in the American Dental Association´s "Give Kids a Smile" program and the Donated Dental Services national program. Childrens Dental Health Month is also a busy time, when Dr. Cohil visits local elementary schools and educates children on good oral hygiene and the causes of decay. He is the FDA School Resource Dentist for Seminole County. This means he is the appointed dentist that works with the school health advisory committee and school nurses to handle dental problems and emergencies.
 Dr. Kirk Cohil and his wife Patty have two young children, a daughter, Kyleigh, and a son named Chase. Together they enjoy traveling, playing tennis and bicycling. He is a big fan of the Tampa Bay Rays, Indianapolis Colts and Orlando Magic. Dr Cohil´s other hobbies include softball, golf, fishing, water skiing and working out at the gym.
