Dr. Kirk Larkin, DPM

Dr. Larkin is very understanding, always takes time to listen to patients, he always puts his patients first, and has a great sense of humor. I recommend Dr. Larkin to anyone.

Today was my Mother's first visit with Dr. Larkin. He was very helpful on options for her foot care. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a foot doctor. -Estela D. and Benjamina (daughter)

Saw him for severe pain from an exacerbated plantar fasciitis. I knew it was plantar fasciitis since I went thru the same thing on my other heel, cortisone injections and finally surgery. Have been pain free ever since. My insurance changed so I couldn't see my old podiatrist. Larkin did X-ray's of my foot. First he's trying to tell me i may have a hairline fracture on my heel, i told him my history, same pain, feeling as my other heel. Then he finally says oh you pry tore your plantar fascia. I came in using a crutch, and he said your pain is so bad you need a crutch? I told him my pain is a 8 and sharp stabbing. I told him i got cortisone injections before and it helped. He refused said i don't want to stop the inflammatory response. WHAT??? I've been in the medical field for 30 years, beginning as a Army Combat Medic and never heard just a ridiculous statement. Here comes the contradiction, then he says to take Motrin, an anti-inflammatory!! Ok, so no shot, i ask what… about something for the pain. He says there's nothing i can give you. I ask about narcotics, he said "NO, the government has my hands tied". I fully understand there are people out there seeking drugs for the wrong reasons. But then there are patients that are really in pain and need something. I've been a professional athlete most of my life, so Motrin doesn't do a thing for me. A person isn't going to get addicted to narcotics after a few days. So, if you want to be treated like a drug-seeker, by all means waste your time and see this guy.

Dr Larkin is the best foot Dr. I’ve ever seen. He has a awesome bedside manner. He takes the time to explain everything he’s going to do before he gets started and listens to you without ever making you feel rushed. It was my first visit and I was so scared the procedure I was going to have was going to be very painful. He said he didn’t need to numb the area I wouldn’t feel it. I’m thinking how can that be possible I can’t even stand it to be touched it hurts so bad. He looked me in the eye and said I do this everyday I won’t hurt you. I could numb you but it’s not necessary. I held my breath for the 5 min it took and not once did I even come close to feeling anything. He’s fantastic. Now a word about his awesome staff. His M.A Leahatta is so sweet and caring Amy his receptionist too. From the time I got up from the chair absolutely having had a pain-free experience till I was in my car driving away I had a big smile on my face just like I had won the lottery but that’s how happy… I am that I had found such a awesome doctor and staff. Also I met a lady Trish in the waiting room i was chatting with who is a MNT A medical nail technician. Specializing in medical safe pedicures and toenail reconstruction. I’ve never heard of such a thing. It’s called a Medi Pedi. She gave me a brochure on it and now after reading that brochure I don’t want to get a pedicure anywhere else. You will be amazed at what she does different. I am a great grandmother I’m just so sad that I didn’t find this place sooner. Oh and by the way how I found him I googled who is the best podiatrist in Las Vegas. He’s in Henderson if your wondering. So I gave him 5 stars but he’s a million dollar doctor. Feeling blessed
