Dr Mendez agreed to see me the same day upon referral from CareNow Urgent Care after I suffered an elbow fracture. I already had X-rays on a CD from CareNow so he was able to explain the required procedure to me in just minutes and answered all my questions which were out of interest rather than concerns as he instantly inspired great confidence. He was able to schedule to operate on me just 3 days later. The Front Office staff were very professional and efficient - registration takes about 45 minutes if typing with one finger on the non-dominant uninjured arm. Dr Mendez also has a Surgery Scheduler / Medical Assistant Jacky who is outstanding at - and happy to - answer any questions on the phone between appointments. The process of pre-Registration at Mountview Hospital and the actual surgery on the day went exceptionally smoothly & everyone who assisted the process in Prep, Anesthesia & Recovery was very polite and efficient. Dr Mendez's office is easy to find with ample parking.

The office had a very pleasing environment. Jackie, Wendy, Cinthia, Ally, Jessica and Dr. Mendez answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. Great service and great doctor! I love this place and the people who work here!!

I love Dr. Mendez! I fractured and dislocated my knee cap and he got me put back together so I could dance at my daughter’s wedding 3 months later (umm…lots of PT). He listens to my concerns and answered my questions completely. Very nice bedside manner. Never feel rushed or just a number. Office is run very well and I highly recommend his practice!

Don’t be fooled…Dr. Mendez is really a magician. The “MD” after his name stands for “magical doctor.” Knee pain has sidelined me from doing the things I love and I’ve been hobbling around like Long John Silver for the past six months. I was worried I was going to need surgery to fix it. Nope! Dr. Mendez poked around for a few minutes, I’m pretty sure I heard him mutter “ abracadabra,” and my knee is better! I’m only a week into the two weeks of resting it I’m supposed to be doing, but I can already tell things are much improved. And on top of everything, my office visit was exactly how you would imagine a visit to the doctor should go. Things were running on time (I hardly had to wait at all), my appointment was a few days after I called to ask for one, every single staff member was pleasant and helpful…it was like the Disneyland of doctor’s offices. A+. 50 points to Gryffindor.

I saw Dr. Mendez to get a second opinion. He found I had a torn meniscus. Whereas the first doctor did not and only wanted to give injections. I'm happy to report another good review for Dr. Mendez. He's professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to talk and answer your questions. I highly recommend him!
