Dr. Kirk Benton Muffly, MD

This doctor has been, in my opinion, incredibly rude to me, constantly contradicting me when I tried to explain my issues. He's happy to take your money without offering a definite course of treatment. I hope he retires soon - the way he practices medicine is very upsetting.

He had been my doctor for 8 plus years when I went to him several years ago because of extreme low back pain. I couldn't stand up straight and could barely walk. He said there was nothing wrong with me and when i undressed to be examined he laughed at me. He is the rudest most unprofessional i ever met. Don't think about having him for your doctor.

Saw this physician because my doctor was on vacation. Muffly didn’t listen. He was rude, arrogant, and obnoxious. I tried to explain what was happening and previous issues that had an effect on my current problem. He told me I was wrong (I.e. he knew better what was happening after seeing me for about 2 minutes than I did after living with a chronic illness for over a third of a century). He was wrong. I eventually went elsewhere. I won’t presume to tell others what to do, but I will not see this individual again.

I feel comfortable seeing Dr. Muffly about all medical issues. His demeanor is good and he answers my questions about my health, in a serious professional way.

Only in for the almighty dollar.Never listens aleays rushed but not to time charge you.Always refers to someone else so why waste your money with him. Go to a specialist for your problem. Wont prescribe anything for infections or arthritis.

Worst bedside manner ever, rude staff, tells you your condition is all in your head.

It's been awhile since I saw this doctor and if its the doctor im thinking he was rude to me i would try to talk about what was going on with me and he would talk loudly over me I didn't like him at all

Once you get past the arrogant, dismissive bedside manner of this internist, you'll find an incompetent and uncaring medical practitioner. Notice how his waiting room is quite empty, except for the occasional pensioner who can't find any other practitioner. As a caregiver who accompanied a beloved elderly relative to this boob, I was horrified at the patronizing and dismissive way he sniffed at the patient's condition. In fact, repeat visits to facilitate healing were indicated. If you are referred to this man, RUN, don't walk, to find another!! You will be saving yourself a lot of wasted time and misdiagnoses.

This Dr. isn't worth your time of day. Will not listen to what you have to say without a smart come back. only sends you to other dr. to find out what wrong with you and then bill's you for nothing. Should be fired from CHI for sure so they can save money of bad DR's...

This doctor treated me horribly. I came in for abdominal pain and he blamed my emotional problems and told me I needed to find a new dr. His bedside manner was so bad that I ended up in emotional distress and in more pain. I ended up in an ER on IV medication. I do not recommend this doctor. Especially for those with complex medical issues.
