Kirk J. Nielson, DDS
Dr. Kirk Nielson is committed to helping his patients live happy, healthy lives with beautiful, straight smiles. It is his philosophy that the benefits of orthodontics last a lifetime and each patient deserves to have a smile they can be proud of. Dr. Nielson is passionate about bringing such a positive change to people. It gives him great joy to see his patients smiling at the end of their treatment; it is this fulfillment that makes him look forward to each day at Advanced Orthodontics.
Dr. Nielson earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Brigham Young in 1985. He began his journey to being an orthodontist by receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University, graduating in 1989. Afterwards, he attained his Master of Science degree and Orthodontic Certificate in 1991 from Oklahoma University.
Dr. Nielson has been practicing orthodontics since 1991 in Aurora and enjoys serving …the people of this wonderful community. Each patient he meets is a unique individual, enthusiastic about their treatment and the amazing results they’ll achieve. Along with his team, Dr. Nielson spends many hours learning about the newest advancements in the orthodontic field to ensure his patients get the best care possible.

A native of Blanding, UT, Dr. Nielson has loved living in Centennial since moving here almost 20 years ago. He and his loving wife, Stephanie, have been blessed with five wonderful children: Meagan, Jacob, Mindy, Hunter, and Celine. They also have a beautiful granddaughter that they adore named Paisley Grace. In his spare time, he loves being with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Dr. Nielson is also active in his community and volunteers for local charities, auctions, and local schools, as well as in his church.
